Schick is an American shaving and personal-care brand with a history dating to 1921, when inventor Jacob Schick developed and commercialized his razor technology. The brand became known for innovative shaving systems, disposable razors and products designed for both men and women. Schick was acquired by Energizer Holdings in 2003 as part of its purchase of Schick-Wilkinson Sword. In 2015, Energizer’s personal-care business became Edgewell Personal Care. Today, Schick is one of Edgewell’s major global shaving brands, offering products such as Hydro, Xtreme, Hydro Silk and Intuition in markets around the world.
