About the brand ❤️
Servo is an open-source web browser engine project originally created by Mozilla Research in collaboration with Samsung. Founded in 2012, the project was designed to experiment with modern browser architecture using the Rust programming language, focusing on improved security, parallel processing, and performance. Servo introduced advanced techniques for rendering web pages efficiently on modern multi-core processors and influenced the development of several Mozilla technologies later integrated into Firefox. After Mozilla reduced direct involvement, stewardship of the project moved to the Linux Foundation Europe. Servo continues to serve as an experimental platform for browser engine innovation and web technology research.
