About the brand ❤️
The Slovakia national football team is the senior men’s international team representing Slovakia in global football competitions. Governed by the Slovak Football Association (SFZ), the team was established in its modern form in 1993 following the peaceful split of Czechoslovakia, with its first official post-independence match played in 1994. It competes in FIFA World Cup and UEFA European Championship qualifiers and finals, regularly facing top European national teams. Slovakia’s home matches are typically played at stadiums such as Tehelné pole in Bratislava and Štadión Antona Malatinského in Trnava. Known by nicknames like Sokoli (“The Falcons”) and Repre (short for representácia), the team has qualified for major tournaments including the 2010 FIFA World Cup and several European Championships, showcasing its development since independence. The national side continues to play actively on the international stage under the auspices of the SFZ, drawing support from fans across Slovakia and Slovak communities abroad.
