About the brand ❤️
Sony Reader was a line of electronic book readers developed and marketed by Sony. Launched in 2006, the devices used electronic paper displays and allowed users to read e-books and other digital documents in formats such as EPUB, PDF and text. The Reader series included several models with features such as touchscreens, Wi-Fi connectivity and expandable storage. Sony also operated the Reader Store for purchasing digital books in several markets. In 2014, Sony ended the consumer Reader business and transferred Reader Store customers to Kobo. The product line remains a notable part of the early development of the modern e-reader market.
