About the brand ❤️
Syracuse Herald-Journal was an American evening newspaper published in Syracuse, New York. It was formed in 1939 through the merger of the Syracuse Herald and Syracuse Journal, although both predecessor publications had much older histories. The newspaper provided local and regional coverage of politics, business, society, sports and community affairs for readers in Central New York. Samuel I. Newhouse acquired the combined newspaper in 1939, and it later became part of Advance Publications. The Herald-Journal ceased publication on September 29, 2001, when its operations were consolidated with The Post-Standard.
