About the brand ❤️
The FA Women’s Super League (commonly called the Women’s Super League or WSL) is the premier professional women’s football league in England, established in 2010 with its inaugural season in 2011. It replaced the FA Women’s Premier League as the highest tier of the English women’s game and currently features 12 fully professional clubs. Originally run by The Football Association, governance of the league was transferred in the 2024–25 season to the independent company WSL Football, with clubs as shareholders, aiming to grow the commercial and competitive stature of the sport. Chelsea, Arsenal and other leading clubs compete annually, and the top teams qualify for UEFA Women’s Champions League competition.
