About the brand ❤️
The Texas League is a long-running American minor-league baseball circuit, primarily serving the south-central United States. Established in 1902 (with roots extending to an 1888 predecessor), it is classified as a Double-A league. The league’s headquarters is in Fort Worth, Texas, and it is part of Minor League Baseball’s affiliated structure. Over its history, the Texas League has provided developmental opportunities for countless players on the path to Major League Baseball. Despite periodic suspensions (notably during world wars and organizational reorganizations), the league has persisted. In 2021, during a MiLB-wide reorganization, it was temporarily renamed “Double-A Central,” but the historic “Texas League” name was restored in 2022 — underscoring its enduring legacy in U.S. baseball.
