About the brand ❤️
Torino Football Club, commonly known as Torino FC or simply Toro, is a historic Italian professional football club founded on 3 December 1906 in Turin, Piedmont. The club emerged from the merger of Football Club Torinese and a group of dissident players from Juventus, adopting the distinctive maroon colours that earned it the nickname I Granata. Based in Turin, the team plays its home matches at the Stadio Olimpico Grande Torino and competes in Serie A, Italy’s top football division. Over its long history, Torino has won multiple Italian league titles and Coppa Italia trophies and is especially remembered for the legendary Grande Torino side of the 1940s, whose tragic loss in the Superga air disaster deeply impacted Italian football. Since 2005, Torino has been owned and led by Italian entrepreneur Urbano Cairo through his holding company U.T. Communications S.p.A., guiding the club through periods of both challenge and resurgence. Today Torino FC remains an enduring symbol of regional pride and a respected competitor in Italian football, known for passionate support, rich tradition, and a commitment to sporting competitiveness.
