Valentino S.p.A. is a prestigious Italian luxury fashion house founded in 1960 by Valentino Garavani and Giancarlo Giammetti in Rome. Known for its haute couture, ready-to-wear collections, accessories, perfumes, footwear and leather goods, Valentino has become synonymous with elegance, craftsmanship, and its signature “Valentino Red”. The company is currently owned predominantly by Mayhoola for Investments (70%), with Kering holding 30% since 2023. The legal headquarters are in Milan, while its creative and historical heart remains in Rome. Since April 2024 the creative director is Alessandro Michele, and the CEO is Riccardo Bellini (as of 2025).
