Based in San Francisco, the platform connected people with local experiences, including classes, workshops, tours, events, arts and crafts, culinary activities and other services. Verlocal also offered booking and scheduling software for experience providers, helping small businesses manage reservations and customers. The company raised several million dollars in funding and expanded its marketplace during the 2010s, but was reported as no longer operating in 2020.
