Zepharma Inc. was a Japanese pharmaceutical and consumer healthcare company established in 2004 through a joint venture between Yamanouchi Pharmaceutical and Fujisawa Pharmaceutical. Headquartered in Tokyo, the company specialised in the development, marketing and sale of over-the-counter medicines, quasi-drugs, cosmetics and healthcare products. Its portfolio included gastrointestinal medicines, cold remedies, allergy treatments, skin medications and personal care products. In April 2006, Zepharma was acquired by Daiichi Sankyo Co., Ltd. Its operations were subsequently integrated into Daiichi Sankyo Healthcare as part of a corporate restructuring completed around 2007.
