Gemballa is a German automotive tuning and customization firm, renowned for radical, high-performance modifications of Porsche vehicles and occasional work on other brands. Founded in 1981 by Uwe Gemballa, it became noted for extreme bodywork, power upgrades, and bespoke designs. In 2010, the original firm was incapacitated following Uwe Gemballa’s disappearance and death; the brand rights were later acquired by Andreas Schwarz and Steffen Korbach, who relaunched operations under Gemballa GmbH. The company remains active, producing conversions, aerodynamic kits, and limited-edition vehicles, combining German engineering with avant-garde styling.
