The United Shore Professional Baseball League (USPBL) is an independent professional baseball league based in suburban Metro Detroit, Michigan, with all games played at a single stadium, Jimmy John's Field in Utica. Founded in 2016 by Andy Appleby, the league serves as a developmental platform for college players and those who went undrafted or were released from minor-league contracts, giving them a chance to continue their careers and potentially sign with Major League Baseball teams. The USPBL features four teams competing in a regular summer season, providing competitive baseball and affordable, family-friendly entertainment to the local community.
