About the brand ❤️
Real Sociedad de Fútbol, commonly known simply as Real Sociedad or La Real, is a historic Spanish professional football club from San Sebastián in the Basque Country. Founded on 7 September 1909, it received the royal designation (Real) a year later and became one of the founding members of La Liga in 1929. The club plays its home matches at the Anoeta Stadium (also known for sponsorship reasons as Reale Arena). Real Sociedad has enjoyed periods of success in Spanish football, including winning La Liga titles in the early 1980s and several Copa del Rey trophies, and it remains a regular competitor in domestic and European competitions. Unlike some clubs owned by a single wealthy investor, Real Sociedad is structured as a Sociedad Anónima Deportiva, meaning it is owned by numerous shareholders and overseen by an elected board, with Jokin Aperribay serving as president. The club is known for its strong Basque identity, vibrant blue-and-white colours, and a respected youth academy that has developed numerous top players. Real Sociedad continues to compete at the highest levels of Spanish and European football, celebrated for its tradition, passionate fanbase, and regional significance.
