Ichnusa is an Italian beer brand from Sardinia, founded in Cagliari in 1912 by Amsicora Capra. Named after the ancient Greek name for Sardinia, the brand has become closely associated with the island and its culture. Production moved to the modern brewery in Assemini in 1967, where Ichnusa is still produced today. In 1986, the brand became part of Heineken Italia while retaining its Sardinian production base. Its portfolio includes the classic Ichnusa lager, Ichnusa Cruda and Ichnusa Non Filtrata, with the brand marketed throughout Italy.
