About the brand ❤️
Ottawa Lynx was a Canadian professional minor league baseball team that competed at the Triple‑A level in the International League from 1993 until 2007. Based in Ottawa, Ontario, the Lynx served as a top affiliate for several Major League Baseball clubs during their tenure, including the Montreal Expos, Baltimore Orioles, and Philadelphia Phillies. They played home games at Lynx Stadium, a facility built to bring high‑level baseball back to Canada’s capital. The team enjoyed early success, capturing the International League championship in 1995, but declining attendance and shifting economics eventually led to changes in ownership. After the 2007 season the franchise was sold and relocated to Allentown, Pennsylvania, where it became the Lehigh Valley IronPigs, ending the Lynx era in Ottawa. The club remains a significant chapter in Canadian baseball history as the last Canadian Triple‑A team in the International League.
