Canpotex is a Canadian potash exporting and marketing company established in 1970 and based in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. The company was created to efficiently market and export Canadian potash to markets outside Canada and the United States. Canpotex manages the international sale, transportation and delivery of Saskatchewan potash on behalf of its two shareholders, Mosaic and Nutrien. Its operations include rail transportation, port terminals, ocean shipping and global customer distribution. Canpotex supplies potash to agricultural markets worldwide and is one of the largest exporters of the fertilizer nutrient, supporting food production and agricultural productivity in many countries.
