Aerosol Magee Scientific is a Slovenian scientific technology brand specializing in the measurement and analysis of black carbon and other carbonaceous aerosols. Its history dates to 1986, when Magee Scientific was formed and its first commercial instrument was delivered. The Slovenian company Aerosol d.o.o. was established in 2007 to focus on the development and production of aerosol measurement technology. In 2022, Aerosol and Magee Scientific combined their products and expertise under the unified Aerosol Magee Scientific brand. Its instruments are used in air-quality monitoring, climate research, environmental studies, and public-health research worldwide.
