About the brand ❤️
Aigle Azur was a French airline based at Paris-Orly Airport, founded in 1970 (originally as Lucas Aviation) and later rebranded. It specialized in flights between France and North Africa, as well as other European and international destinations. Despite a fleet of Airbus aircraft and a loyal customer base, the airline struggled financially and filed for bankruptcy in September 2019. All flights were canceled on September 6, 2019, and a French court ordered its liquidation later that month, ending nearly five decades of operations.
