About the brand ❤️
Android Pie, also known as Android 9, is the ninth major release and sixteenth version of the Android mobile operating system, developed by Google LLC, an American technology company headquartered in Mountain View, California. It was first announced and previewed for developers in March 2018 and publicly released on August 6, 2018. Android Pie introduced a more intuitive user experience by incorporating machine learning to optimize system behavior, including adaptive battery and brightness features that learned from user habits. It also offered redesigned gesture navigation, enhanced privacy and security controls, notched screen support, and a Digital Wellbeing dashboard to help users understand and manage their device usage. Android Pie marked the end of Android’s long‑running tradition of dessert‑themed names for releases, as subsequent versions adopted simple numeric identifiers. This version has since reached end of official support and is no longer updated, but it played an important role in shaping modern Android functionality.
