The Basketball Super League is a recently founded North American professional basketball league, established in 2023 by Dave and Evelyn Magley. Headquartered in Indianapolis, Indiana, the BSL spans the United States and Canada and aims to be a “destination league” for players outside of the NBA and its G League. Its inaugural season, 2023–24, launched with several teams including former franchises from dissolved or reorganized leagues. The league promises no salary caps, larger venue requirements, community-focused ownership structures, and broader media and broadcast partnerships.
