About the brand ❤️
Boryspil International Airport is the largest international airport of Ukraine, located about 29 km east of Kyiv in Boryspil district. Founded in 1959 on a former military airfield, it began handling international flights shortly thereafter. In 1993 it became a state enterprise under the name “Boryspil International Airport” (ДП Міжнародний аеропорт “Бориспіль”). As a state-owned enterprise, it operates under the Ministry of Infrastructure of Ukraine. It has two runways, two major passenger terminals (Terminals D and F), plus cargo and VIP facilities. Before 2022 the airport handled the majority of Ukraine’s international and intercontinental flights. Since the Russian invasion and the closure of Ukrainian airspace on 24 February 2022, commercial flights have been suspended though the state continues to maintain the infrastructure, with hopes for resumption.
