The “Bounty” chocolate bar is a coconut-filled confectionery sleeve coated in chocolate, launched in 1951 in the UK and Canada by Mars, Incorporated. Designed to evoke a tropical “taste of paradise” with its creamy coconut centre and milk (or dark) chocolate shell, Bounty has developed into a distinctive snack favourite in Europe, Australia, Canada and other markets. Over the decades, limited-edition flavour variants (such as mango, pineapple or cherry) have appeared, emphasising its exotic branding. While Mars is an American company, the Bounty bar’s strongest identity has been as a UK origin product.
