About the brand ❤️
Brooks Pharmacy was an American retail pharmacy chain founded in 1932 and headquartered in Warwick, Rhode Island. It operated more than 330 drugstores across New England and New York, offering prescription medications, over-the-counter medicines, healthcare products, cosmetics and everyday essentials. The chain became a well-known regional pharmacy retailer and was acquired by the Canadian Jean Coutu Group in 1994. On June 4, 2007, Rite Aid completed its acquisition of Brooks and Eckerd pharmacies. Brooks stores were subsequently converted to the Rite Aid brand, bringing the company's independent retail identity to an end.
