The company developed technology and advertising services designed to help independent digital publishers and content creators monetize their websites. Its portfolio included AdThrive, CafeMom, MamasLatinas and other digital properties. In 2018, private-equity firm ZMC acquired a majority stake in the company, after which CafeMedia focused increasingly on publisher monetization. The business later combined its operations under the Raptive brand, continuing to provide advertising, technology and growth services for digital creators.
