About the brand ❤️
Ciba-Geigy was a Swiss chemical and pharmaceutical company formed in 1970 through the merger of CIBA AG and J.R. Geigy AG, both based in Basel. Its operations included pharmaceuticals, agricultural chemicals, dyes, pigments and specialty chemicals. The company developed medicines and industrial products for international markets, building on the scientific expertise of its predecessor businesses. In December 1996, Ciba-Geigy merged with Sandoz to establish Novartis, a global healthcare company. Its specialty chemicals business was separated and later became part of a distinct corporate successor, while its pharmaceutical research and products contributed to Novartis's development.
