About the brand ❤️
Copa Mercosur was a South American international club football competition organized by CONMEBOL from 1998 to 2001. It featured leading clubs from Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Paraguay and Uruguay and was created partly to generate television revenue for participating teams. Four editions were played, with Palmeiras, Flamengo, Vasco da Gama and San Lorenzo each winning one title. The tournament was discontinued after the 2001 season, alongside the Copa Merconorte, and was effectively succeeded by the Copa Sudamericana, whose first edition was held in 2002.
