About the brand ❤️
Cray Computer Corporation was an American supercomputer company founded in 1989 as a spin-off from Cray Research, with legendary computer designer Seymour Cray leading the new organization. Based in Colorado Springs, Colorado, it focused primarily on developing the Cray-3, an advanced vector supercomputer that used gallium arsenide technology. One Cray-3 was completed and delivered to the National Center for Atmospheric Research for testing in 1993. The company struggled with development costs and weak demand and filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy in March 1995, ending its operations.
