Founded in Consett, County Durham, in the 1960s, the brand has developed into one of the UK's established recreational vehicle manufacturers. Elddis is now part of Erwin Hymer Group UK, alongside Xplore and Buccaneer, and the group is ultimately owned by American RV manufacturer THOR Industries. Vehicles are designed and manufactured at the company's Consett facility and sold through a network of specialist retailers in the UK and other markets.
