About the brand ❤️
eMachines was an American computer brand founded in 1998 by Lap Shun Hui as a joint venture involving Korea Data Systems and TriGem. The company specialized in affordable desktop and notebook computers, targeting consumers looking for low-cost personal computers. eMachines quickly grew in the U.S. market and became known for value-oriented systems sold through major retailers. Gateway acquired eMachines in 2004, and Acer acquired Gateway in 2007. Acer continued using eMachines as a budget PC brand until discontinuing it in 2013.
