The Football Federation of Kosovo (FFK) is the official governing body of football in Kosovo, based in Pristina. Founded in 1946, FFK oversees all aspects of football in the country — from youth and amateur leagues to the top domestic competitions and national teams. As a non-profit association rather than a commercial company, it regulates football rules, organizes competitions, manages referee certification, and represents Kosovo in international football bodies. Over decades, FFK has worked to develop football infrastructure, support clubs, and promote the game throughout Kosovo. Today it continues to lead the nation’s football scene, coordinating domestic competitions and overseeing Kosovo’s representation in international matches.
