The Maritiem Museum Rotterdam is a prestigious maritime museum in the Netherlands, founded in 1874 by Prince Henry and situated at Leuvehaven in Rotterdam. The museum preserves and presents six centuries of Dutch maritime history through a world-class collection of models, paintings, navigational instruments, charts, and artifacts—totaling over 850,000 items. In 2016, it merged with the adjacent Maritime Museum Harbour to offer outdoor access to historic vessels, cranes, and workshops.
