About the brand ❤️
The Michigan Battle Cats were an American minor league baseball team based in Battle Creek, Michigan, competing in the Class A Midwest League from 1995 to 2002. The franchise began play after relocating to Battle Creek and quickly became part of the local sports scene, playing home games at C.O. Brown Stadium. Over their existence, the Battle Cats were affiliated with major league clubs like the Boston Red Sox and Houston Astros, developing future stars and winning the Midwest League championship in 2000. Facing shifts in major league affiliations and evolving minor league structures, the Battle Cats name was retired after the 2002 season when the franchise became the Battle Creek Yankees, later evolving into other identities and eventually relocating as the Great Lakes Loons. The team’s legacy remains part of Michigan’s baseball history.
