Launched via a formal FEC filing on May 24, 2023, the campaign was headquartered in Tallahassee, Florida and overseen by key figures such as campaign manager James Uthmeier, policy director Dustin Carmack, press secretary Bryan Griffin, and advisor Casey DeSantis. Although the campaign began with significant momentum, DeSantis ultimately suspended his campaign on January 21, 2024.
