The San Diego Clippers are an American professional basketball team in the NBA G League, serving as the developmental affiliate of the Los Angeles Clippers. The franchise began play in 2017 as the Agua Caliente Clippers of Ontario, later rebranded as the Ontario Clippers, before relocating in 2024 to Oceanside, California — adopting the name San Diego Clippers in homage to the original NBA team that played in San Diego decades earlier. The team now plays its home games at the new Frontwave Arena, a 7,500-seat venue. As a G League club, the San Diego Clippers focus on developing young talent and providing a platform for players to advance to the NBA.
