SKYY Vodka is an American vodka brand launched in San Francisco in 1992 by inventor and entrepreneur Maurice Kanbar. The brand was developed with the aim of creating an exceptionally smooth vodka and became known for its distinctive cobalt-blue bottle and proprietary production process. SKYY uses quadruple distillation and triple filtration to produce a clean, smooth spirit. Skyy Spirits was acquired by Campari Group beginning in 2002, with Campari reaching 100% ownership in 2006. Today, SKYY is part of Campari’s international premium spirits portfolio.
