Software Publishing Corporation (SPC) was an American software company founded in 1980 by former Hewlett-Packard employees Fred Gibbons, Janelle Bedke and John Page. Based in Mountain View, California, it became known for its pfs: series of business applications and, most notably, Harvard Graphics, an influential presentation and business graphics program for MS-DOS. Harvard Graphics became one of the leading presentation tools of the late 1980s and early 1990s. As Microsoft Windows and competing software gained popularity, SPC declined and was acquired by Allegro New Media in 1996.
